Love their food. Their roast beef sandwiches are so good. Their plates have generous portions and truly have that homemade taste. Good for your lunch spot.

Stopped here on the way back home to Lafayette for a quick bite. Great service, great food and loved the atmosphere!

A Metairie staple. Been in the same location for years. Great poboys, even better pizzas. They also offer daily specials. Good value. Large portions.

Great comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere.

The food is great is home cooking from the fresh ground beef burgers to the fresh chicken breast strips. Nothing artificial or imitation

Ordered a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo and a hot sausage poor boy dresses with cheese. Gumbo was way too salty. Almost inedible. Sandwich was good though they forgot the cheese. They quickly added the cheese though adding it after the fact didn't allow time or residual to melt it. I'm a big fan of Come Back Inn. Been going there over 40 years. This was hopefully an anomaly. It was also a Sunday. Hope the owners will take this in the spirit offered.

I've been eating here for over 50yrs and the food is great as always. Nice atmosphere, great service and very friendly staff. Also, family owned. Everyone I know loves Come Back Inn.

Onion rings were cold & were told they take the longest! Had to ask for our food. Shrimp were tiny & breaded on the poboy. The gumbo, crab soup & potato salad were good. VfcToo much better competition for this. So disappointed.

Best fried seafood in town. Oysters golden and well cooked. Love 'em.

This is a great little restaurant for lunch. They have daily specials on the menu. Their red beans and rice is delicious. Their sandwiches are great. The roast beef, fried shrimp and hot sausage are all favorites of mine. The French bread is always crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They do not skimp on filling your sandwich with the particular ingredient ordered. I do think they are a little pricey on their soft drinks and tea. The plate lunches and sandwiches are comparable to other restaurants in the area.

I've been coming here for years and have their daily specials memorized like the pledge of allegiance. Had everything on the menu multiple times. Things to get: Muffalata (Probably the BEST MUFFALETTA IN THE CITY), Hot dog poboy, JOE DON, Any seafood poboy, country fried steak (Sunday), Crawfish pasta (Friday), Seafood Muffaletta (a lil pricy but WELL WORTH IT), Corn and crab bisque, and old fashion red beans and rice. Constantly send people to this place for lunch. Amazing place for home cook food. Recommend 10 out of 10.

Great place. Order at the front counter, pick your seat, they call out your number and you go get your food. Hot, fresh, clean restaurant fairly friendly people.

Love this place! Great spot for lunch. They have daily lunch specials and they have good sandwiches. The bread is really good, toasted sesame seed French bread is always fresh. The Joe Don is their specialty debris sandwich, its amazing!!Shrimp remoulade salad is pretty good too!!They have off street parking and handicapped accommodation for the entrance and bathrooms. Service is always good and fast too. I recommend this spot to family and friends, eat lunch here kinda regularly.

Roast beef poboy / chicken and sausage gumbo

I ordered white beans with an extra pork chop. The white beans were very spicy, no rice for the white beans, no salad dressing, and no utensils to eat with. I WILL NOT COME BACK INN!!!!

Very nice sandwich place, I had the roast beef sandwich on regular sandwich bread not the po-boy style it normally comes in and I now know why it does, the meat was so juicy that my sandwich got soggy (totally my fault). Order a small side of fries and my only wish would have been for fresh cut fries that would have rounded the score to 5 stars. Very friendly place to have lunch.

Great local eatery - nothing fancy, just consistently good lunch & dinner specials, generous poboys and friendly staff. Open 7 days a week, can call ahead for take out; imo, they make one of best muffalottas in Metairie, also really like their club sandwiches & roast beef poboys (suggest you request regular French bread vs seeded Italian style for the r/b).

Always a great place to eat..

We used to go here when we were teenagers & young adults. We live in Dallas,Texas now and we came back for a family gathering. When we decided to go get a quick meal,we were happy to see that Come Back Inn was still open because we both wanted a po boy since we hadn't had one in many years. The food was better than ever, and everyone was so nice.

The food was great and the prices are minimal.,highly reccomend

Best shrimp po boy around, and I've been around the po boy block. Next day as cold leftovers they're good too!
